In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, Saha Group is advancing its collaboration with SkyDrive, a leading Japanese company specializing in electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. This partnership aims to explore and develop eVTOL solution in Thailand, potentially offering a new solution to traffic congestion and revolutionizing aerial transportation in the country.

As the developer of Saha Group's industrial parks, Mr. Vichai Kulsomphob, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board of Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited (SPI), stated that SPI prioritizes the development of technology that reduces pollution and contributes to sustainability. "SPI has previously attracted Japanese companies to expand their production facilities in our industrial parks. While this has boosted economic growth, it has also led to increased traffic and pollution concerns. SPI aims to transform transportation to be more convenient, faster, and significantly reduce environmental pollution. Aerial transportation with electric aircraft (eVTOL) addresses this need and can be expanded into other businesses within the group. This collaboration, involving SPI, Saha Tokyu Corporation (STK), and SkyDrive Inc., will leverage the expertise and resources of each company to explore and develop eVTOL solutions in Thailand.”
The three companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the feasibility of using SkyDrive's eVTOL aircraft to revolutionize transportation in Thailand.

Mr. Tomohiro Fukuzawa, Chief Executive Officer of SkyDrive Inc., stated that SkyDrive is a leading developer and manufacturer of eVTOL aircraft with advanced technology in Japan. Their goal is to revolutionize urban transportation, solve commuting issues, and create a future where daily transportation with eVTOL is accessible to everyone, not just in Japan but worldwide.
"The collaboration between SkyDrive, SPI, and STK will involve studying the feasibility of using SkyDrive's eVTOL aircraft for aerial transportation networks in Sri Racha, Pattaya, and Phuket. Additionally, we will explore new business opportunities, such as leveraging data and study results to further eVTOL applications in Japan and the air taxi business. This will utilize STK's real estate business network, which focuses on developing beautiful environments, delivering high-quality housing, and providing the best services for Japanese families in Sri Racha, Chonburi," said Mr. Fukuzawa.
