13 July 2020: AIS, the No. 1 of 5G network leader with the most spectrums, announced a significant partnership with Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited or SPI, a company in Saha Group that has influential business development land for industrial objective, by signing up a joint venture under the name of "Saha Advance Network Company or SAN" to continue the strategic partnership in utilizing AIS 5G and Network Infrastructure to enhance the industrial estate area in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in order to upgrade to Smart Industrial and reinforce AIS's commitment in conducting 5G technology collectively to recover Thailand and further push Thai industry to the world stage.

Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, Chief Executive Officer of AIS, said, "The 5G technology is similar to a new line of digital veins in the country, which will support multiple sectors in turning the situation from Fall to Fight by retorting to grow as powerful as before. We, consequently, focus on investing in expanding the 5G network to 77 provinces nationwide and testing with parties in each industry, including the transportation industry, tourism industry, retail industry, security system, and Smart City as well as public health applications during the COVID-19 to provide Thais and all sectors to recognize the real potential of utilizing 5G.

Today, it is another significant step for us to continue our 5G strategic partnership with our allies to an extra level by collaborating with Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited or SPI to establish the Saha Advance Network Company or SAN in order to provide Fiber Optic network and ICT Infrastructure in the 4 industrial parks of SPI, including Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province, Kabin Buri District Prachinburi Province, Muang District, Lamphun Province, and Mae Sot District, Tak Province, including an area of approximately 7,255 rai of land, which has over 112 factories. Furthermore, we are preparing to utilize ICT Infrastructure, and 5G technology, including 5G Stand Alone (5G SA), which is 5G network with high-speed and low latency, moreover, 5G Network Slicing at AIS, which is the first and only in Thailand that can design with the network consistently and flexibly to respond to each type of industry and area. Besides, efficient service in the industrial park will enhance competitiveness and improve industrial plants' productivity in the EEC area and also hold a concrete model of the adoption of 5G technology inside industrial estates.

Saha Advance Network Company or SAN was established with an authorized capital of 300,000 shares in the amount of 30,000,000 baht. Advanced Broadband Network Company Limited (ABN) holds 70% of the shares, representing an investment of 21 million baht. Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Company Limited (SPI) holds a 30% stake, representing an investment of 9 million baht.
